Wake Up, It's 2008!!! is a server themed after Garry's Mod as it were in the years between 2005 and 2014.
It isn't a PERFECT replica, but we are consistently working towards making the server as accurate to the time period as possible. Day by day, mod by mod, we will construct the most retro server that mankind has ever seen. With the generous support of our deciphles, cracky t. bracky has acquired a server, of which he will use to re-construct the past again.
All of our server's content is sourced from 2005-2014, and we stringently follow such guidelines. We don't have stupid nonsense like Wiremod, gBombs, PAC3, or Outfitter. We don't even have M9K! And we definitely will never ever ever add nextbots. Fuck you for asking.
Our only definitive rule is simple: Do NOT lag the server, OR attempt to crash it. If you do, you will be permanently banned, forever. We will also ban your entire family lineage and all of your friends you've ever had! Ever! Other than that, admins can torture you/kick you/mess with you for any other indiscretion. (mainly if youre extremely annoying.) But we try to be as laid back as possible.
